Description
Fiori’s 25th popular high summer event at Castle Ashby.
Dazzling baroque concertos by Bach and Vivaldi in a nostalgic return to the same programme we performed at our first concert here in 1988.
Bach – Orchestral Suite no.1 in C
Vivaldi – Concerto for 2 violins in A minor
Marcello – Oboe Concerto in D minor
Zelenka – Sinfonia in A minor
Bach – Brandenburg Concerto no.4

Do bring a picnic and enjoy the early evening in the Orangery and Italian Gardens adjacent to the church (open free of charge from 6pm).

Tucked away within the grounds of Castle Ashby House (seat of the Marquis of Northampton), the ancient church of St Mary Magdalene is always the idyllic setting for Fiori Musicali's popular high summer concert.
Drinks are served in the delightful Orangery gardens which remain open for you to enjoy during the interval.
