The arrival of the virtuoso soloist during the 18th century inspired a wealth of dazzling concertos, and the beautiful estate church tucked away in the grounds of Castle Ashby House is the perfect place to hear them.
For this high summer occasion, Fiori's brilliant instrumentalists present a feast of Italianate concertos, rounded off with Bach's famous double concerto for oboe and violin.
By special arrangement, this year, the Orangery and Italian Gardens adjacent to the church are open free of charge for concert-goers from 6pm. Do take advantage of this opportunity to stroll through in the early evening – bring a picnic too!
