Many of Europe's foremost musicians arrived in Prague for the coronation of Charles VI and Elizabeth as King and Queen of Bohemia - Tartini, Quantz, Caldara and the native Zelenka. There's even convincing evidence that Vivaldi visited Bohemia - and by 1720 his concertos were all the rage there. Joined by Pamela Thorby - bewitching recorder player of the Palladian Ensemble, and featured artist on the million-selling Adiemus albums - Fiori open a door on the colourful musical scene in Prague around 1723. A dazzling evening of baroque music for recorder, soprano, oboe, bassoon, violin and continuo.
